More Roman Numerals' News

Spent the entirety of yesterday recording THIS MOTION at 1000West w/ Eric Graves and the assistance of Dave Gaume. It is a new one but it has been in the works since Pete LaPorte was in the band. I'm definitely liking the direction it has taken. Hopefully have vocals completed soon. Also, in recording news, we will be working with Josh Browning in the next couple weeks to record GET WHAT YOU WANT, WHAT YOU NEED for the upcoming split 7" w/ Cowboy Indian Bear due out in November. Oh yes, and OXBLOOD RECORDS is set to release GO/NO/GO (which you can download digitally for free below) on a 7" b/w a Max Justus remix of CONSENT TO DISSENT. What are we going to do w/ THIS MOTION? Not sure yet but before it comes out definitely keep your eyes peeled for the full length and FREE remix record of our debut w/ mixes from POISON ARROWS, JOEL HAMILTON (BOOK OF KNOTS/GLAZED BABY/SHINER), ONE MILLION TINY TINY JESUS, INNERHORSE (BACONSHOE/MINDS UNDER COVER), EBON AND EMOTRON.

Too many caps? Sorry. Just wanted to blurt this out there before I head to Shawn Sherrill's monumental birthday hoopla.

Also don't forget
Roman Numerals this Friday Sept. 18 at recordBar w/ The Sailor Sequence and T H I E V E S
Thee Water Moccasins Wed. Sept 23 at Riot Room w/ Restless Breed and Tut Tut
and Roman Numerals Oct. 1 for a free show at The Yard w/ Passion Pit and Audiovox. Can't wait for that one.

Cheers,

What is up.

So, I had completely forgot I started this blog at the behest of dearly departed friend and confidant, Greg Beck aka Death. I miss him, a lot. Anyway, I started it then we opened recordBar and I got very very busy w/ the bar and Roman Numerals and just forgot about it. I discovered it yesterday when I was trying to find somewhere to place the Roman Numerals new song widget you see below. This widget, provided by Top Spin Media, allows users to immediatly share the info on their Twitter, MySpace, Facebook, Digg and more pages. But, it seems that MySpace blocks its competitor's icons and my initial post of the widget on MySpace was useless to users for sharing. That led me to Blogger. I was going to start a blog to share the widget and since I use Google Chrome as my browser, BAM! It recognized me as the owner of this long forgotton (2004) blog. So, will I continue to post on this blog? Maybe, I'd like to say I will. There is a lot of music news brewing in my world. Season to Risk-20 Year Anniversary!, New Roman Numerals record. Debut record from side project Thee Water Moccasins and much more.

At the behest of DEATH!
Better late than never, I will do my best to write here several times a week.
Cheers
